Support Orphaned Children (SOC) - Uganda is a Community Based Organization operating in Uganda. Support Orphaned Children (SOC) was founded by two good friends (Kawama Mugabi Dennis and Frank Kalule) who had a very big passion for Orphans and other vulnerable children. Support Orphaned Children (SOC) – Uganda is officially registered by the Ministry of Gender, Labour and social Development.
We work with families, communities and partners to ensure that vulnerable children have access to education and training that address individual needs and circumstances and helps children develop their potential.
Our offices are located in Kamuli District in Nawansaso town, with liaison offices in Seeta Mukono district.
We focus mainly on education support to the neediest children especially those whose parents died of HIV/AIDS and other vulnerable children in Kamuli District.
Support Orphaned Children (SOC) - Uganda supports about 102 needy children with scholastic materials, school fees, food, and clothing.
Our vision is to change the life of every vulnerable child in Africa through providing food, education and shelter.
Our mission is to provide food, education and shelter and also to instill morals to help the orphans grow, learn and eventually become independent.
Support Orphaned Children (SOC) was founded by two good friends Dennis and Frank who had a very big passion for Orphans and other vulnerable children. Through there little income from Kawa solutions Limited, they have been able to fund this organization for now 7 years.
